Traveling Through the Indian Rocks Bridge

Every cruise we travel through the Indian Rocks Bridge. As our yacht approaches, the captain calls the bridge via our onboard radio. We do this to let them know we are ready to go through. Once the bridge is ready, they signal for all vehicles to stop, allowing for the bridge to open. As the arms of the bridge slowly raise into the sky, the excitement will rush through your veins.

This is just the beginning of the exciting adventure that awaits! In this photo, you can see how tall the bridge really is! Sometimes there will be wild Florida birds perched alongside the bridge like cranes, edgrets, pelicans, and seagulls. Make sure to get your phone ready to snap a photo of these unbelievable creatures!

There are all kinds of exciting things to experience when going under the drawbridge!
