Snook fish are very popular in the Florida area, and frequently inhabit near the yacht. They typically grow up to 20 inches in length and weigh around 30 pounds. They are mixture of gray and dull yellow in color. They can be identified by a lateral line along thee side of their body.
Snook have a diet of smaller fish, shrimp and crab. They are popular food and game fish. Though males seam to be a bit shorter, than females. Interestingly, snook are sensitive to temperature changes and may die when Florida goes through sudden cold fronts.
